Old Firehouse Books is excited to partner with the CSU Friends of Morgan Library and the Poudre River Public Library District to host reporter, photographer, and author Scott Pelley this May. We invite you to join us on Tuesday, May 28th at 7:00pm to hear Pelley speak about his forthcoming memoir Truth Worth Telling: A Reporter’s Search for Meaning in the Stories of Our Times.
Don’t ask the meaning of life. Life is asking, what’s the meaning of you? Pelley’s book introduces readers to unforgettable people who discovered the meaning of their lives in the historic events of our times. In moving, detailed prose, he stands with firefighters at the collapsing World Trade Center, advances with American troops in combat in Afghanistan and Iraq, and reveals private moments with presidents both past and future. For readers who believe that values matter and that truth is worth telling, Pelley writes, “I have written this book for you.”
This event is free and open to the public. We hope you’ll join us!
