Fort Collins Book Fest!

Mark your calendar for the 3rd annual Fort Collins Book Festival on Friday, October 19 & Saturday, October 20, 2018!

The Fort Collins Book Festival was conceived by librarians, writers, book lovers, and community members with the simple purpose: to combine the community’s passion for the literary arts and our unique cultural heritage in a celebration of literature, literacy, and social conversation.

The exciting author and speaker lineup has been announced along with the festival schedule and a map of the event venues.

Don’t forget that the Friday Writing Workshops are free but require advance registration. Learn more about each workshop and how to register on the Writing Workshops page. Registration opens Monday, October 1, 2018.

The headline author this year is Andy Weir, author of the MARTIAN and ARTEMIS!! He'll be doing a book talk and signing on Saturday, October 20th at 5:30pm at the Lory Student Center, and it will be free to attend. However, if you are one of the first 35 people to donate 25$ to Book Fest, you'll get Priority Signing! This means you'll be the first in line to meet Andy and get your books signed. You won't have to wait in what's sure to be a long signing line.

Drop by the store to make your donation--cash only, since we don't have the same system as Book Fest--to get your ticket and your place in line!

The Fort Collins Books Festival is proud to present the event free of charge, thanks to the generous support of corporate and academic sponsors, foundations, and individuals.
