Final Meeting with Author Kerrie Flanagan, Steps to Getting Published: Traditional and Self

The program runs from June to mid-August (full schedule below) with meetings being held every other week on Tuesday at 6pm (with one exception for July 4th). Throughout the summer, we will be referencing Writing Tools: 50 Essential Strategies for Every Writer by Roy Peter Clark, as well as two other texts specific to our discussion topics. Each of these texts will be available for purchase at Old Firehouse Books at a 20% discount for workshop participants.
We will be focusing on three topics this summer: writing practices and habits, creating plot, and character creation/development. We are currently working on bringing in guest authors to speak on these subjects during the second meeting of the month.
