Join us as we discuss Bill Bryson’s book, In a Sunburned Country. In A Sunburned Country is Bryson's report on what he found in an entirely different place: Australia, the country that doubles as a continent, and a place with the friendliest inhabitants, the hottest, driest weather, and the most peculiar and lethal wildlife to be found on the planet. The result is a deliciously funny, fact-filled, and adventurous performance by a writer who combines humor, wonder, and unflagging curiousity. Australia is an immense and fortunate land, and it has found in Bill Bryson its perfect guide. | 14

Old Firehouse Books will be joining the Poudre River Public Library District to welcome award winning Colorado author Pam Houston. Houston has written several books, including Cowboys are my Weakness and Waltzing the Cat. She will be discussing her newest book Sight Hound and signing copies. Sight Hound is a very special love story between a woman and her dog, a wolfhound who teaches "his human" that love is stronger than fear. Seating for this event will be first come first serve, so get there early and don't miss out! | 17
